We’re saving hundreds of quality machines from landfill. E-waste is a major contributor to landfill, with printer devices making up a significant portion. The waste from packaging of new devices is a further contributor. That’s why we’re on a mission to advocate for repurpose and reutilise existing print devices. 

We know print volumes are declining and the demand on devices is less and less. On the other hand, technology has greatly improved, which has extended the lifespan and capabilities of multi-function devices. These two factors work together to create a great business case for EcoPRINT.

   By 2030 more than 70 million tonnes of e-waste will be created per year. Printers are a major contributor to e-waste, with most devices going to landfill with many of them having more than 80% of their life left. Further waste is created when the packaging of a new device is discarded. This can be avoided by adopting the use of EcoPRINT devices.

   By choosing an EcoPRINT device, your organisation can reduce it's carbon footprint by saving up to 1500 kg-CO₂eq*.
   
   kg-co₂eq = Kilogram of carbon dioxide equivalent per kilogram. This the equivalent to the amount of CO2 produced in sourcing new raw materials, manufacturing of the device, packaging, distribution & disposal of the device at the end of its life cycle.
