Three of our major Inland Technology locations, Tamworth, Armidale and Dubbo are experienced snap lockdowns prior to all of NSW being placed into lock down due to the risk COVID-19 is posing to our regions.
Travel restrictions are in place alongside the stay at home orders from the Government, limiting people's movement in the regions. This presents a challenge for our Service Team who service a vast area, but we are still here for our client’s who’s operations are considered essential.
So what does the lockdown mean for us and you as our valued clients in regional NSW?
At Inland Technology we are doing as much as we can to continue servicing regional businesses. Our Service Technicians are still able to go on site to service devices of essential service businesses, if the business is comfortable with them visiting the premises. We are frequently testing our workers who enter the affected locations and adhering to all the health advice. Fortunately, the innovative nature of our company meant we were somewhat prepared for the lockdowns with our digitisation and the development of our service dashboards.
Our service dashboard allows us to look at machines remotely, providing us with all the information we need to evaluate the performance of the device. This means we can see toner levels as well as consumables and parts usage on clients devices without having to visit the site. Furthermore our service technicians are able to view our service job map and instantly see when a service call is logged. This piece of technology means we can limit the number of trips made to areas and complete all required work within the one trip. The development of our service dashboard has been key in improving the service that Inland Technology provides to their clients and has proved its value more than ever during this lockdown period.
We take the current situation very seriously at Inland Technology and hope to see our regions open and operating in the near future. For now we are proud to be able to continue our support by servicing regional businesses in a COVID safe manner.
